"Any suggestions on how to go about that?" Raven wasn't exactly asking for Sonnet to be the one to help her out. Asking for help wasn't really something she liked doing amongst many things. Even her being pointed in the right direction would be helpful enough for her.
"One place is as good as another to me. If it wasn't here, then it might've been elsewhere instead." She commented with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "As it's been pointed out, I do move about a lot." She clarified. When it came to where she ended up there was no real pattern to her travels. On occasion it was purely out of curiosity, while others was just due to places she wanted to go at least once in her life. She wasn't even really sure herself what drew her to New York.
"Besides if I'm going to be causing trouble one way or another, then it helps to know what works around here. Well other than the obvious." She ended up grinning at Sonnet.

Raven casually smoked on her cigarette as she continued to stroll along. She vaguely spotted what appeared to be a teen who turned into an alley up ahead. She didn't take it too much to mind until she spotted another two figures appear to follow them.
It didn't really mean a thing, but it did seem a little strange when both figures just seemed to stop right there at the alley entrance. Now that did peak her curiosity. There was a couple ways in which she could nose in on what was going on. One was to just straight over and to muscle in. Or there was the more subtle approach where she could peer down from above.
The subtle approach won out. Half jogging to a more discreet area, she floated on up until she was able to stand and peer over down below into the alley way. From there she was able to see the teen she had spotted, as well as the two that blocked their path. Only now could she see that there was another on the other side.
For now she remained where she was. Not about to jump to conclusions as to what was going on below.

Raven was not really the type of person who was able to stay in one place for too long. Granted it was something that she was somewhat trying to work on. She had been recently in New York, and even though in a way it was starting to grow on her she couldn't help but take to the sky.
She had only really meant to take a bit of a relaxing flight not far from where she was staying, but she ended up taking a higher altitude and flew further afield. Before she knew it she had ended up in California. Somewhere where she had been about before. Plus there was a bonus that it was by Nevada, the home of Las Vegas. Now there was a place she enjoyed whenever she went there. A place full of history, and especially corruption.
This time she decided on staying in California for a little longer. Her flying about, and wandering below. There were enough well known areas throughout the state. This time her making her way to San Francisco. In particular she was up above, staying on rooftops and peering below whenever she could. A lot of the buildings making it easy for her to stay out of sight.
Now that the day was getting on and it was becoming darker, she ventured down onto the streets. In a way the people that milled about didn't seem all that different to anywhere else that she had been. It was likely yet another place where trouble could easily be caused. Granted she wasn't sure if she was really in the mood to create such chaos.
For now she paused in her footsteps in order to light up a cigarette, before carrying on on her walk. Her idly gazing about at those not all that far away.

Raven grinned as it was remarked that she clearly moved around a lot. "Me moving around lots is pretty much an understatement. I've been on the move since I left home at sixteen." She remarked, giving a little more insight about her, but at the same time not really being that informative either. "Suddenly being able to fly just kinda made it even easier for travelling about."
Being called out that she didn't really know how to act made her think on the notion for a moment. Since she didn't really have much of an idea on how long she was going to stick around for, then maybe it wouldn't be too bad an idea for her to be able to blend in more. Rather than how she had been, which was more or less her showing off what she could do.
"Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea for me to get to grips with how things are." She spoke thoughtfully.

Raven blinked and rose her eyebrows from the snapped response. She could have remarked on Sonnet having a short fuse considering how out of place the reaction seemed, but that would have been severely hypocritical of her, not that the woman would really know that about her. Instead she smiled slightly, remembering that she had actually joked about using a similar wording not all that long ago.
She sat there in silence for a moment before Sonnet gave a mild apology. "None needed. Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers." It was as close as she typically got to an apology herself.
"Okay, I'll give you the accent. But is my attitude towards normal folks really that much of a giveaway?" She couldn't help but ask. Where she hadn't really stuck in any one place for long since discovering she was a meta, she hadn't really taken the time to really pay much attention to how others were. She guessed that was something that perhaps she should consider changing.

Raven for now watched Sonnet, that was right until she mentioned being part of the Yakuza. "Yakuza." She spoke virtually blankly. "Really?" She had heard of the name but only in the form of what she saw in films years before, nothing in the flesh. Until it was spoken right then it was something she only ever thought of being purely make believe for entertainment purposes. Either Sonnet was pulling her leg at that moment or she really meant it.
"Yeah I'm British, English, whatever you want to dub me. Why's that?" Her brows narrowed a little, then she shook her head, her chuckling under her breath. She drummed her fingers briefly on the table. "You're really part of the Yakuza?" She repeated, her tone one of disbelief.

Raven looked down a moment then grinned at Sonnet's standing on friendships. "Looks like we agree on something at least. Friends aren't something on the top of my priorities either. Been burned one too many times by people that were supposed to have been friends. Acquaintances however, now that's different." She remarked matter of factly.
"Money, huh? We should be able to work something out around that." She gave a nod to that. Inwardly she was happy that she wasn't going to have to try and wangle it into the conversation herself. "As for stupid trouble then I'm guessing you're on about my entrance here. Granted that's nowhere near the trouble I usually get into."
Raven's eyebrow rose once more at the mention of a code. "Code? How'd you mean?" She tilted her head a little, more curious about Sonnet. The woman then giving her a glimpse of tattoos was also rather intriguing. Then of course the mention of an organisation made her realise that she was likely dealing with a greater version of a troublemaker than she first guessed.
"So what are you? A gang leader or something?" She now asked. She had no idea of the exact meaning of the tattoos. It wasn't something that she had seen before.

Raven looked to Sonnet and slowly rose an eyebrow only to end up shaking her head since the woman wasn't elaborating on her ability. Then again she wasn't denying her guesses either. If she was in a particular taunting mood she would keep on second guessing the woman, but for a change she decided to let it slide. She figured she would find out eventually one way or another.
If she knew what the woman was thinking in comparing her abilities to superman she would have laughed. If only she was invulnerable to harm like that. She had to avoid certain attacks like the next person. Bullets and blades were something she wasn't all that keen on. True the strength had its perks at times, and her body could copy with that strength. If not it would be a pretty awful thing to have.
As she was asked what she wanted in return she mildly shrugged her shoulders once more. "I guess that would all depend what's on offer. We talking life long 'friendship', or something more in the region of 'I scratch your back, you scratch mine'." Course she wouldn't turn down an offer of cash, but it was one of those things that she would only mention if the other party spoke up first.

Raven smiled slightly in amusement. "So you're happy to harm other metas then. That helps. I can't be doing with any of those goody two shoes." She commented as she picked up a napkin to wipe at her fingers. "You know the ones I mean. The stick together and cause no harm lot." She gave her head a mild shake.
Scrunching up the napkin into a tight ball she tossed it onto the table in front of her. She rose an eyebrow slightly at Sonnet's answer. "By fast, you mean you're fast like the comic book character Flash? Or something else? You know like-" She rose a hand up a little and circled her fingers slightly as she recalled the term. "-teleportation?" She finished, snapping her fingers got to it.
She chuckled as she in turn was asked more about her own ability. It was inevitable. "As fun as flight is, it's only any good for transport. Or for getting out of sticky situations." She leaned back again. "I got some pretty good strength, though it can be a bitch at times. Too many breakages." She answered simply with a grin.

Raven tried not to grimace a little at the sight of Sonnet biting into that greasy burger. It was funny in a way. The things she was capable of doing to another person and she barely reacted. But then something simple as the sight of something extra greasy and it turned her stomach.
She diverted her gaze to the fry that she currently held as she mulled over the suggestion. She then lifted her back to the woman. "Let's say I was remotely interested. Just what would you do?" She asked her. She dropped the fry back to it's container and brushed her fingers together briefly in a meagre attempt to clean the digits.
"I don't just mean your own way of causing chaos. I mean what are you even capable of anyway?" She questioned. Granted she knew that she herself hadn't been up front in her own abilities, aside from the obvious one which had been witnessed first hand. She was curious to know a little about Sonnet. She didn't feel the need to find out everything about the woman, it wasn't like it was any of her business. But it would be good to know what she might possibly getting herself into.

A vague look of amusement appeared in Raven's eyes from the males reaction to her proposal. Either he wasn't used to people or women in particular coming up to him, or he had just been in his own little world for a moment. Seeing as he found his voice quickly however made it more likely to be the latter. As he made a nod over towards the screen and a comment on it being a lost cause, she glanced over herself, then mildly shrugged her shoulders. "I wouldn't really know. I'm not really all that into sports." She remarked as she made her way back to the pool table. She used that brief opportunity of him removing his jacket to check out his overall physique, and admittedly she liked what she saw. She took a sip of drink before setting the glass down nearby, so it wouldn't be too far away. She then grabbed another pool cue while he busied himself with setting the balls up, then went over to him, offering the extra cue stick. "For some reason it never escapes people that I'm not from around here." She spoke up in amusement. "Granted if it wasn't obvious already, then you'd really know when I start swearing at missing a shot." She chuckled to herself, before she decided to give at least some sort of answer to the query. "I always wanted to come over here, and finally had the means to actually do it." It wasn't exactly an informative answer, but it was something rather than nothing.

Raven peered briefly at the burger in front of her, and brought her attention back to Sonnet while she ate hers. She however wrinkled her nose a little, more due to the grease than anything else. That was one thing that was off putting, all that grease. It made sense to her right then why a large portion of American's were considered to be obese. Still at least the fries weren't as bad, hence her keeping to them instead.
She wasn't blind to the fact that Sonnet seemed to perk up a little more compared to how she had been at the mention of chaos. She now grinned at her and tilted her head a little in amusement as she was asked whether she started things. "Well you saw my manner of making an appearance. If that can't cause a little bit of chaos among regular humans, then what else will." She commented with a chuckle.
"Trouble tends to follow me around, heck that was the case even before the whole meta thing happened." She responded, her attention back on Sonnet once again. "Help? Is that meant to be an offer or something?" She rose an eyebrow up slightly, her debating on whether she'd even consider causing chaos alongside another. Now that fell into the whole trust thing, something she didn't like to do. Granted it didn't need to mean that at all.

Raven let out a brief yet sharp laugh as she was referred to as an idiot. "So that's what you think of me." She found herself grinning at that, her half waving a fry at Sonnet. "You know what? I think I like you. You're just so... well serious."
For her it was somewhat of a compliment, she very rarely found anyone that she didn't find annoying in some fashion. Sonnet's current demeanour, seem to show a tough edge, but without being so over the top. A trait that she had found in the few inmates that she didn't mind while she had been in prison.
She gave a nod of her head as the woman stated that she was met. "Yeah, I kinda figured that. What with the whole not batting an eyelid at the flying, and the knowledge of how they're treated and such."
She shrugged as well to the repeated question of why she was there. "Well for starters you brought me in here." She grinned again, assuming that the answer would be exactly what Sonnet expected being as she was considering her an idiot. She then leaned forward. "What I'm really doing here though... I like chaos, and I like trouble. The more chaotic the better." She told her in a lower voice. It was followed by her leaning back on her seat, the action causing it to groan from the added strain. "So far, I'm not disappointed."

Rina, or Raven as she was otherwise known, on the other hand was very much an introvert, but even so she knew the importance of being social every so often. Between that and her fondness for alcohol she could easily be found in bars on a regular basis. Her mood always depended on what type of bar, and today's choice was a little more on the casual side. The current place suited her mood, and even though a game of some sorts was being shown it apparently hadn't drawn in too much of a crowd compared to typical game days. Maybe the bar prices had something to do with it, or whatever teams were playing instead. Whatever the reason it suited her, and made it more bearable compared to a place that was heaving, granted those places she steered well clear of. She had been mulling about one of the pool tables, playing a game or two. Not shying away from any bets that came her way, granted those that were willing to play were few and far between. The other bar patrons were more interested in the game. She hadn't long finished playing a game, and had pocketed a measly twenty dollars, better than nothing she supposed. She now went over towards the bar, with a pool cue still in hand. Since there wasn't much in demand for the pool tables it wouldn't go too much amiss at that moment. It didn't take much to gain the attention of the barman, her ordering herself a whiskey. Using the bank note she had just acquired. It was while she was waiting that she cast a gaze about, her sights landing on a slightly older male who seemed to be keeping himself to himself. Once she had a glass in her hand she gripped it lightly in her hand, one wrong move and it could easily end up shattered. After an initial sip she casually made her way over towards the lonesome male. "Think I can interest you in a game?" She spoke up, her London accent apparent, while a hint of a smile playing over her lips.
