Another chuckle left Raven. "You know, you could've just said 'I'm a teenager'. It would've done just the job." She remarked as her smile remained in place. She picked up her cup and had another sip of coffee. Her gaze however remained upon Jack, while curiosity appeared within her eyes. "Though now you're making me wonder just how corrupted you could possibly be."Upon being asked once more about her reasoning for being in San Francisco she began to wonder if there was a lot more to Jack than met the eye. There was her trying to get a grasp of the teen, and in return the same seemed to be happening to her also. In her case she hadn't been able to work out much, if anything at all. There was just that random gizmo of a stun gun that had been used previously. "I'm not a vigilante." She gave a shake of her head, followed by her tucking her hair behind her ears. "I don't usually make a habit of butting into confrontations, saving people, or that sort of stuff in general. That said I'm also not a fan of seeing a kid being ganged up on. If you'd been a grown adult, then I wouldn't have even bothered to get involved. I would've left you to it." She admitted with a shrug, skirting about her reasoning for being there in the first place once more. "You know much about Paladin?" She then asked in return. It was a name she had heard about in passing, but nothing more. She however didn't want to come across as completely ignorant.

Nobody Don't you know who I think I am? | Jack rolls their eyes, "Well thank God I'm still a minor then. One grey hair and you'd have left me for dead right?"
That was another piece of the puzzle, there were lots of types of people that would step in to help someone in need, but far less that would only do so if they perceived the one in danger to be a child. They file the extra piece of information for later study, adding it to the growing pile of tidbits and hints they had about this newcomer.
The next question almost makes them throw away the entire pile. The woman is asking about Paladin. The biggest Hero in America, and one of the most recognisable faces and icons on the planet. Jack can actually see an advert featuring the Hero from here, plastered across the side of a bus that has stopped opposite the small cafe. They've had no personal run ins with the Hero themselves, but Punk has, and they know from her accounts that she is no small threat.
Only two options are available here. Either Raven is a rabid fangirl who wants to talk Jack's ear off about the blue-haired Hero. Or she's here to test her strength against her. There is a third possible option that they just live under a rock, but that seems unlikely so Jack discards it offhand.
"I know about as much as anyone else..." Technically true, as there are some other individuals that have managed to track down the identities of most of the Hero Program. Namely the Program themselves. "She's super popular, biggest Hero in America, and some people say she's the strongest Meta on the planet. I don't think so... But still... That's what people say..."
