There was one thing Angelica never realized until her abilities manifested, looking at cities from above was truly beautiful. Something she was now able to appreciate every day of her life. But of course having your own set of angel wings certainly helped with that. Granted they also had their own complications. But for the most part, Angelica was adjusting to her new life. Though being what would be called a celebrity was certainly taking some getting used to.
But perched atop a building looking out across the skyline was really only a momentary reprieve. As much as she was now a hero, she wasn’t one of those that dove into trouble fists flying. In truth she wasn’t sure she even knew how to throw a punch. Alright so there were times when she did dive into trouble but not to throw a punch.
Most days she was just a fancy new first responder, helping withs cuts and burns, broken bones. Helping to stabilize those who may not make it to the hospital otherwise. It was a rewarding duty but there were times when it was draining.
Taking in one last deep breath as she filled her lungs, Angelica leaned forward and let herself fall for a few moments before spreading her wings. Within a moment they caught the air and she was gliding across the skies and between buildings. While she wasn’t one to fight, she was still listening in on the police and fire. Besides with an aerial view, if anything big happened, she’d have an amazing view and be able to get there easy enough.

About an hour before...
The last 18 months were...interesting to say the least. He had been stewing, thinking of the past, for a couple of hours now. It wasn't healthy, probably. And definitely not a good way to spend a day off. Of course, his first idea was easily the most dangerous: Throwing on the mask and going to find some people trying to find some trouble. He was the trouble, if you weren't on the side of the pure and good. Wrecker was the trouble in question's name. Opening up his cosy little closet, he stared down the the set of super suits he put together himself. Each with a different color scheme from blues, to browns, to reds, and even some festive options. Never know when a little holiday spirit might make someone's day. Besides saving their life, of course.
"Screw it, I'm feeling a blue combo today."
He liked blue, for the most part. It was his favorite color but there were times that it doesn't hit the spot the way other colors tend to. But today, it would be a blue. Grabbing a shower and donning the mask, he slipped out his window to the roof. Standing at the edge of the building, he could feel his fear of heights bubble up. Still he looked down as a caring father does to his children. With knowledge that he must protect in order for them to have enough time to become great.
"Time to bring trouble to the trouble makers."
As he gave a brief thought his body started to shift its weight. A small wind levitated him off ground and propelled him forward.
Moments later...
"Ah!"
His blue eyes widened as the wind took him around a corner to which a...angel? Birdgirl? A flyer was suddenly in his path.
"Sorry!" He tried to shout before phasing through her. It felt weird, whenever it happened with another human being. Personal space violation on a whole 'nother level.

What she didn’t expect while she flew around the city was for this almost spectral man in was that blue tights? Floating through her. She was guessing as well that whoever the man was hadn’t expected either as he gave a shout out as he passed with his apologies.
Catching the air in her wings, Angelica made a quick wing over to head in the direction the misted man was heading. Unlike those who could fly under purely natural means Angelica wasn’t able to instantly turn around, her flight was very much like that of a bird or if you will, an angel.
Once she was oriented the proper way she could see the blue clad man floating as if with the breeze and couldn’t help herself as she called out. “Hello there.” There was nothing going on over the emergency bands so she could spare a few moments to talk with someone. He didn't appear at first look at least to be the villainous type.

The young man blinked as he heard a response from someone. Turning back, it became apparent that the winged woman was now hot on his tail. And was making casual conversation. She seemed nice enough. "Hello!" He said with a wave.
Adam used his density to try and steer himself upward with the wind. Once he cleared a billboard and the rooftops he grew heavier and and landed a little haphazardly on the concrete high above the city. He ended up falling on his butt and sliding a little bit, to which he quickly got up. "Ow, ow, ow!" He tried to rub the pain away, before looking back towards where he came. The man hoped that winged girl had followed him over here. Perhaps, he was about to make a new friend, or maybe she had some insightful info on the day. Either way, he didn't have much to do so chatting with someone new didn't seem like a bad idea. "Hello?" He called out.

She watched circling around as the spectral man floated upward before suddenly becoming solid and landing on the roof. Angelica decided to ignore his less than graceful landing as he rubbed at the now tender spot. She herself adjusted her flight path to land nearby her flowing outfit trailing with the wind as she moved.
Landing gracefully, her bare feet touched down on the roof moments before her wings flapped once more before stretching to their full fifteen foot span. Smiling at the man Angel folded her wings so that they rested against her back. Sure they were still clearly visible but they were a little more out of the way. “You flew through me.” It wasn’t an accusation just a simple statement really. “Are you alright? Your landing was a bit rough. You’re not injured are you?” With this her voice was full of concern. If he was injured, she would of course help him.

His blue eyes followed her intently, trying to decide what she wanted from him. When she landed so nicely, Adam decided that she was at the very least not an enemy. Looks can be deceiving, but if he didn't know any better that she was sure she was some kind of angel. As she asked about any injuries, the young man smiled. "Nothing that a nice pep talk and a quick shower can't take care of. I do appreciate the offer though, my friend. I assume you are a local hero around here?"
His hands moved from the rub to his hips. That girl seemed friendly enough, and Adam had nothing to hide. It's especially difficult to seem cool if someone watched your rough landing and a few seconds of bottom smoothing. Despite the slight burning, Adam was choosing to keep up a smile for this friendly stranger. "So a flyer healer or can you also do magic tricks too?" He chuckled, continuing to try and ignore the pain in his backside.

She gave a small smile and a nod of acknowledgement as he mentioned he was OK. She hoped he wasn't just playing the tough guy and really was going to be alright. But judging by what little she could read from him, he was most likely alright. "I am a local hero yes. I am called Angel." She couldn't help but wiggle her wings a little as she said the name. As much as he hated to say it, it was rather fitting at times.
He was doing exactly what she was doing, taking him in, trying to figure things out. Trying to figure each other out really. "Just a flyer and a healer. But some would say that those are magic enough. At least the people I heal after they've been in a car accident think it's magic. Or a miracle." It helped her being a trained paramedic. Well a paramedic in training really.

Adam honestly didn't know how it happened. His first guess would be that he was watching too much anime lately and the culture around it was seeping into his real life. Now all he could see that was she was a loli-magical girl flying around and saving the day. The man was having a severe case of brain fart. Complete with twinkles, bright colors, and adorable poses. That thought was due to his internal squee as the wings wiggled and all he could respond with was: "Cute." What was said now could not be taken back, and the young man knew this. All he could do was cough into his hand, and try and think of something else to say. Because he felt like the biggest doofus between the landing and now the social faux-paw. No more anime for a while, Adam.
"That's pretty dope, actually. Every adventuring party can use a healer. Flying with such wings sounds like a bonus. I only go where the wind takes me. A bit of a hassle sometimes, but it helps with me being rather slow on my own. Still, I am sure with your experience that things are a lot safer with you around Angel." Feeling like he recovered his composure a little bit, he stands up straighter. "So I don't get a lot of TV back in New York where I live; Are you one those with that hero program do-hicky thing?"
