Recruitment Drive If you weren’t looking for it, you wouldn’t have noticed. But Persephone noticed. The plate of fries in front of Alice was diminishing just a little too fast to match the rate at which she was eating them. She wondered if Will would be horrified to see this display of powers in broad daylight. He had, after all, directly experienced talking to others from this super-powered underworld they now belonged to and he’d not come away with the most positive attitude. The lack of caution didn’t bother Persephone herself – it was Mason’s power, not hers, anyway and it wasn’t like there were fries floating around the diner.
She was still far more bothered about the debt that she owed to the doctor. She knew that it was in her best interests to stick with her fellow June 3rd Survivors until they really figured out what they were up against (and alongside, if any friendly powered people happened to exist). They really needed to get together again and figure it all out. She had a slightly lighter shift schedule coming up, maybe they could arrange a meeting to share their information and form a plan of attack.
Persephone realised she had been standing still for the past thirty seconds while the German man had been waving wildly and making that obnoxious “signing-the-air” gesture for the bill. She cursed at herself internally – it wasn’t like her to daydream. This crash sure had shaken her up more than she’d have ever guessed for somebody who emerged from it without a scratch.
“Sorry, I’ll bring it right over,” she said quickly. No need to ask if he was using cash or card. The money was already in his hand, fist pulsing with impatience. He never stayed longer than a few minutes once he’d finished his eggs. She didn’t blame him – the diner was hardly somewhere she’d spend time in for her own leisure either. Get food, get out.
The hand on the clock finally pushed itself all the way round to the end of her shift, coinciding with her immediately whipping the short apron from around her waist and hanging it in its place in the kitchen. “Miranda, you’re up.”
Miranda looked up, a little shocked to be confronted with the reality of doing her job, but quickly pulled herself together and headed out the kitchen to assess the situation.
Persephone followed, slipping past to arrive at Mason and Alice’s table. She hovered awkwardly beside Alice, unsure whether they were planning on staying longer or going somewhere else.
“Okay, I’m free. Tell me everything.”

Paladin Am I more than you bargained for yet? | It took Alice a moment to recognise it, but after a while she realised that fries were mysteriously disappearing from the stack placed in front of them. She helped herself as well, a little more comfortable, she assumed, in taking the fries than Mason was. After all, she didn't need to take the risk of convincing the other occupants of the diner that there was a gently burping, fry eating ghost in their midst.
She giggled at the mental image.
It did make her feel a little fat though, as she watched the plate of fries diminish far quicker than it really should do. She had to keep constantly reminding herself that it was because of the presence of her invisible friend.
"Hey! I never said you weren't stealthy. Anyway, you're invisible now, I bet it's your speciality."
They remained eating the greasy, slightly stale fries for a little longer. Just as they were reaching the plate itself Persephone appeared once more in front of them, this time without her apron. She looked a little more like she actually recognised them now as well.
Alice wasn't exactly sure how to start, but she pulled the earphones out of her ears.
"Umm… so Dom had this sweet idea of meeting up so that we could test our powers, but then only me and Mason said we'd go so we went along and then it turned out that I had a power as well cause I'd fallen down the stairs that morning and then it turned out that I can do other stuff and anyway it was really cool…"
Alice paused for breath.
"And Dom was saying that we could actually be like heroes and use our powers to do good and that we should start a hero team. Like the Avengers or the Justice League. Anyway I thought it was a really good idea so I thought we should ask you if you wanted to join us too, cause like we all got our powers at the same time you know…"
She looked expectantly at Persephone.
"Oh yeah and Claire already said yes."

Recruitment Drive Beaming proudly, Mason nodded in agreement. He could make a speciality in stealth work – surely that was going to come in handy when fighting crime. “Exactly,” he said in a low, amused tone. “Maybe I should bypass all this superhero stuff and become a spy…
“The name’s Man,” he murmured, “Saran-Man!”
The last few fries that Mason consumed were in a comparatively risky manner considering the great care he’d taken with his first few. In all honesty, he’d like to claim that it was because he had mastered his power but in truth it was because he wasn’t really thinking about it. It was only once he’d finished that he noted his blasé fry-eating and then, with a sigh of relief, the lack of horrified onlookers. He’d obviously managed to get away with it but he should have been more cautious. It was hard remembering your invisibility sometimes.
Persephone returned, having finished her shift, and looked a little hesitant as she remained standing next to Alice. Then her expression hardened a little and she was back to her usual self.
Alice did her best to tell Persephone “everything”. There was a lot to cover, after all. It was mildly impressive watching her rattle through her enthusiastic summary of recent events – eventually remembering to breathe – and Mason wondered idly if Persephone would find her eagerness to be off-putting or infectious. Looking at her face, it was really, really hard to tell. Clearly she was still processing it.
“It would just be a group of us six, anonymous,” he added, leaning close so she could hear him. “It seems smart to stick together; doing good and helping others can just be like a happy side effect if you want.”
It wasn’t for him. It was far more meaningful than that, and he knew it was for Alice too. There was something oddly comforting about the thought of being a force for justice. It gave him a sense of purpose that he hadn’t felt for a long time, and he was clinging to it for all it was worth.

Recruitment Drive Not really sure what exactly to expect, Persephone waited patiently for Alice to gather her thoughts. The girl pulled out her earphones – a little disguise for talking to her invisible dining partner – and began with a confident “Umm…”
Persephone remembered the somewhat shady invitation to a random SoMa warehouse. She’d been at work the whole day but hadn’t been too upset about missing the occasion in all honesty. Tests of her powers were done best in her apartment where she was surrounded by the very tools of her ability. Warehouses were not generally known for their lush and varied vegetation.
She tilted her head ever so slightly with intrigue at Alice’s mention of her power. There wasn’t much to go on – what had happened when she fell down the stairs? Could she fly now or something? She didn’t look any different but then, none of them did. It was surely only a matter of time before Alice elaborated upon exactly what kind of “other stuff” she could do.
Then her eyes narrowed slightly with guarded interest. Dom said they should be heroes? If the idea had come directly from Alice or Mason she would have dismissed the idea as childish fantasising. There must be something more to it if Dom was on board though. Persephone didn’t remotely care about avengers or justice leagues but Dom was a shrewd businessman who must have thought this through on a different level to re-enacting comic books.
She nodded at Mason’s addition. Sticking together was good. Especially if they were doing something as risky as hero work – it could attract attention. Maybe even the attention of other powered individuals who would be able to help them track down the doctor.
“I’ll admit,” she said slowly. “I’m interested. I’ll need to know a whole lot more than just… that,” she gestured at Alice, referring to her speech. It had been energetic but rather lacking in any detail… Persephone just had to know more before she could make an informed decision. “But yeah, I think that seems like a great idea.” She smiled warmly at each of them (or at least in the vague direction of Mason).
“We could probably walk to the warehouse from here,” she suggested with a shrug. “I’d like to take a look at it. I do need to swing by the garden store though… I’ve got a little inspiration that needs supplies.” The cryptic nature of her power shone through once more. Persephone was just going to have to get used to the mysticism of it all. Some hard facts and logic would be nice but she kind of enjoyed the weirdness of her ability. It felt like a part of her that had been there all along, just waiting to be unlocked, and now she needed to get to know it before she could begin to decode it.

Paladin Am I more than you bargained for yet? | "Ah!"
Alice glanced in the direction of the invisible Mason, "We already said no more of that."
She turned back to Persephone, suddenly looking intensely serious as she leaned towards her.
"Whatever you do, don't let him pick a name for you OK…"
Alice looked sort of awkward as she realised that her explanation hadn't really been much help to the older girl. She had gotten a little caught up in the excitement of the whole thing, but at the same time she didn't want to give away what was going on to anyone who might be listening.
"Sorry, I guess I'm not as good at this whole secret keeping thing. I suppose I'll have to get better at it…"
She shrugged, too excited about the whole thing to really remain disappointed in her handling of it. This was something totally new, something world-shaking, and she got to be a part of it.
"It is pretty cool though right? I mean, we all got our powers in the same way and now we all get to use them to help people."
She leaned back against the bench. "Maybe we'll have to come up with like a team name as well. That could be fun. Teams always have a proper name in the comics…"
Alice paused, "Not that this is like comic books or anything… I mean… aww it so is… it's so COOL!"

Recruitment Drive Pouting like a child, Mason crossed his arms. He was obviously far more amused than anything else – it was hilarious to be scolded by a blue-haired eighteen-year-old, after all – but he felt it necessary to play along. Saran-Man may have been dead before the name had even begun, but the joke lived on.
He wasn’t sure whether Persephone was just humouring them or not. She said she was interested, and she seemed happy enough to learn more, but it was really hard to tell with that girl just what exactly she was thinking. Certainly she didn’t seem 100% convinced just yet, but they could work on that. Once she witnessed Alice in action, for example, surely then she’d really understand what they were planning.
“I’m happy to walk,” Mason said, glad not to have to deal with any more buses. As fun as it was at times, it was also quite stressful. He assumed that the vagueness of Persephone’s gardening talk was to save them from boredom, but it was still a little odd. Something about the way she phrased it. He hoped the little inspiration that needed supplies was just a nice new flower bed or something. “And sure, we can pretend to admire the plant pots or something.”
He remembered his power. “Or, Al can pretend, and I can do whatever I want.”
He grinned.
“Within reason,” he assured them.
Alice’s undying enthusiasm kept them on track. He was looking forward to helping people – it was something really giving him a lot of hope at the minute. Whether he could think of a good team name was another matter.
“I take it you don’t want any suggestions from me?” he teased. “I’ve not been getting great feedback so far.”
He leaned forward and passed his wallet under the table, dropping it into Alice’s lap. For some reason, he had the joyful impression that it had remained concealed the entire time he’d been holding it. Maybe his power control really was improving.
“It is cool and it so is like a comic book. I’m half-expecting an alien invasion any second.”
That wasn’t even a lie. He was right there with Alice – this was so bizarre, true, but it was also so very cool all at the same time. Hopefully the others, not just Persephone, could see that too.

Recruitment Drive Alice looked so serious for someone talking about something as ridiculous as superhero identities. Persephone just nodded sharply, trying her best to match Alice’s expression. Sure, whatever.
“Well we can go once you guys have paid, I’ll grab Miranda’s attention if you want.”
It was a valuable offer. Miranda was notoriously unobservant when it came to diners needing the check. It was as if her eyes glazed over the second an empty plate came into view. Fortunately, the customers here were usually pretty vocal in their demands; no one really wanted to stick around here for long.
She waved a hand at Alice. “Please, don’t apologise, it’s a weird topic that we probably shouldn’t talk about too openly in public anyway.” Taking a glance around the room, it didn’t seem like they had any eavesdroppers. That being said, Persephone wasn’t sure if she wanted to be heard or not. If they were somehow caught by a powered person, that could help lead them straight to the doctor. Unfortunately, it could also lead them into the hands of people who not only disapproved of the doctor, but also her subjects. Best to keep on the down-low for now when it was just the three of them.
“Sure, it’s important to help people,” Persephone said slowly. “We have quite the opportunity in front of us.”
The effort to suppress an eye-roll at the idea of a team name was enormous. She settled for the slightest raise of her eyebrows.
“Comics aren’t really my area of expertise,” she said, throwing in a bemused smile. “I’m sure you can think of something, right?”
Cool was not really the word she’d have gone for. She was enjoying her powers, even if the whole situation was shadowed by the mystery of their benefactor, but they hadn’t inspired the same feelings in her as they clearly had for Alice and Mason. Maybe it was the subtleness of her ability. Turning invisible certainly rocked your world a whole lot more than advanced plant care did.
“I’ll keep an eye out for UFOs,” she teased.

Paladin Am I more than you bargained for yet? | "Hey!"
Alice glared at the point she thought Mason was sat in, then she turned back to Persephone.
"I wouldn't be pretending. ALL this stuff is so cool!"
Alice was not a good liar, though in this case it hardly even mattered. She was entirely sincere. Perhaps it was an advantage then that she couldn't lie. It was clear that she meant what she said. Maybe her power meant more to her than Mason's invisibility or Persephone's strange horticultural facilities, but everything they could now do was amazing.
"It's always the one that people underestimate that save the day. Everyone thinks that Superman would easily beat Batman, but look at Dawn of Justice…" Her face darkened, "Stupid movie…"
She looked back up from her contemplation, "No, surely there wouldn't be aliens as well..?"
Terrifying though that event would be, there was an undeniably hopeful tone in her voice. Maybe expecting the Martian Manhunter or Groot was a bit much however. Not that it was impossible. If people with super powers could hide in human society for centuries, then surely aliens would have it much easier out in the vastness of space.
She became more excited at Persephone's offer though, her mind racing with all the possibilities. Admittedly, plant themed super humans tended to get a bad rep. The only one most people could think of was Poison Ivy, and her soul was far from lily white, though she could probably grow really, really white lilies.
"I'll definitely think of something. There's got to be soooo many possibilities for you! Do you want to come to the warehouse then? We could go now? If you don't want to stay?"
She awkwardly extracted a few bills from Mason's wallet, grateful that he had begun by offering to pay for the fries. It was a luxury she could ill afford right now, even if she still felt a little like she was taking advantage by eating his fries and then letting him pay.

Recruitment Drive With a sombre nod, Mason echoed Alice’s ‘Dawn of Justice’ criticism with a grunt of disgust. He’d been looking forward to the movie and had left feeling that – at best – he could call it an average movie. As much as he enjoyed action, he also enjoyed movies that had a cohesive plot, developed characters and an engaging screenplay. Thus he totally approved of Alice’s appraisal. It was indeed a stupid movie.
“Dude,” he said, the enthusiasm heavy in his voice. “There could be aliens. Maybe we’re like… descended from aliens, and that’s why we’re… you know…” He hushed his voice even more than before. “Superheroes.”
He smiled at Persephone. “It’s an amazing opportunity. Just think of all the good we can achieve! It’s what our powers were made for.”
Mason was still vaguely clinging to the concept of their powers having a destiny attached to them. It wasn’t something he’d really considered before. Previously, he’d never considered that his purpose in life was to be a manager, but he hadn’t thought it was anything else really either. The magnetic, intoxicating draw of super abilities had ignited something within him and it was a heady, dizzying drive towards heroism. He was sure that Alice in particular felt a similar way. The rest seemed to be still somewhat anchored in normality… for now.
He was happy that Alice accepted his cash without protest. They’d agreed on it beforehand, and she was definitely the type to keep her word, but he was still nervous that she might see it as charity. Alice had certainly consumed her fair share of fries.
Once they paid, Mason waited for the others to leave so that he could slip through the door behind them unnoticed. He was pleased with himself for remembering. Maybe he was getting used to being invisible after all. Maybe he really could continue a somewhat normal life. He’d have to tell his mums, of course, and eventually maybe he could tell work if powers became an accepted thing in society.
Buoyant, Mason walked along beside Persephone and Alice, noticing only too late that collision with a rubbish bin was imminent.
He stopped himself for the most part but the metal can still rattled and groaned a little at the sudden impact. He blushed. “Oops. Sorry guys, I’m… I’m fine. Wasn’t looking.”
Stealth was clearly not quite yet his infallible speciality...

Recruitment Drive Wow, Alice really could muster enthusiasm for just about anything.
“Yeah… no, I’m with Mason. There’s not much to get excited over with plant pots,” Persephone said with a grin. “But hopefully you might find the stuff I grow in them pretty cool.”
It wasn’t like Alice’s opinion of her plants actually mattered in the slightest, but Persephone was genuinely quite proud of her collection. It had been nice to watch Cory admire the sprawling indoor garden. Kind of validated the success of it all, weirdly. Now, with her power, Persephone’s collection could only continue to grow in its impressiveness.
“No, that was the doctor’s work, remember?”
Her refusal of Mason’s theory of extra-terrestrial descent came out a little quickly. She couldn’t help but feel a little anxious when thinking of the debt they owed to this doctor. Adding the suggestion that the whole situation was part of some weird, intergalactic plan just blew the anxiety out of proportion. Best to just dismiss the idea entirely.
“Yeah, let’s go to the warehouse now.” Persephone spun round and immediately caught Miranda’s eye, gesturing to the bills in Alice’s hand. It was lucky that she was in the way of the exit – Miranda had a habit of staring at it – and they quickly paid up and left. The chefs waved goodbye to her but she pretended not to have noticed. She was off duty now and her patience for co-workers had officially run out.
She talked as they walked. “It’s mostly just some stuff that I need to mix into the soil, I’ve got all the cuttings at home already, but you guys can just wait outside while- fuck!”
The metallic clattering caught her off-guard and she jumped back a step, eyes wide. Then a quiet apology appeared out of thin air.
“Woah, dude.” Persephone exhaled deeply. “Please try not to put any of us back in hospital.”
It was a weak attempt at humour, but it was something. Clearly she was still a bit on edge, and she was now quite annoyed that it was there for the others to see. Persephone didn’t like being perceived as vulnerable. Ever.
“…Anyway, the store’s just on this corner…”

Paladin Am I more than you bargained for yet? | The rattle of the bin startled Alice, though not as much as it did Persephone. She jumped at the older girl's loud expletive, and then looked around to the now steady trashcan. When Mason's voice emerged from the air somewhere above the metal rim she had to stifle a giggle.
"Smoooth…"
She turned back to keep walking, "you're right though Persephone, I think the get out of hospital free card might have been a one-time thing…"
She wondered for a moment if the Doctor might be watching them, maybe even right now, keeping an eye on them and their powers. It made her feel a little like one of the X-Men, she just wished that their Professor X would emerge from the shadows and tell them a little bit about what was going on. Although maybe that would all be a little too easy. Nothing in real life was ever quite as easy as it seemed to be in the comic books. Things wouldn't be all wrapped up in time for the next issue.
Alice didn't really understand Persephone's power at all. It didn't seem to make any difference to her. Rather, it just seemed to affect the plants around her, she supposed. From the sound of it the waitress' power was just like someone had downloaded a couple of gardening handbooks into her head and then left it at that. Alice couldn't imagine what it must feel like, as though someone else had carefully sorted and filed your memories so you could find what you were looking for. The very thought creeped her out a little.
They stopped outside of what looked like a gardening centre. Plants spilling out of two racks either side of the door and the smell of damp soil wafting between the fronds of an enormous hanging fern over the door. It looked like Tarzan had moved in. Alice looked to Persephone, "You want us to come in? I can help you carrying stuff if you want?"

Recruitment Drive “Come in if you like,” Persephone said with a shrug. “But I don’t need much, I’ll be quick.”
She entered the store with slow, deliberate steps. Ever since Cory had been leant over the kitchen sink, high as a kite, Persephone had been chasing an intuition. She wasn’t sure what the idea was exactly. Recovery tonics, maybe? The name didn’t matter, what mattered was that she’d known in that moment that she could have used the ingredients available to her in her flat to create something that would have knocked some sobriety back into the reckless young woman. It wouldn’t have flushed the drugs from her system, just kick-started some kind of chemical balancing process. Cory hadn’t wanted her help but, unknowingly, she had helped Persephone.
She was focusing on the plants that had stood out to her in that moment, currently aiming to re-mineralise their soil and maybe introduce even more cuttings if she found anything of inspiration in the store. She picked up a small bag of mineral fertiliser that was hidden round the back next to a stack of multi-purpose compost and then took a moment to peruse the horticultural offerings in the store.
Her power seemed to need materials immediately available in order to function, so there were no magical light bulb moments. Fortunately, Persephone did have some basic gardening knowledge of her own. Before her power, she would have foolishly assumed that she had quite a sound knowledge but her confidence in her abilities had been shaken now. It seemed like they had a slightly different species of plant in here to one that she was currently intending to work with… maybe that could do something? She wouldn’t know until she tried.
Not wanting the whole plant, Persephone eventually agreed upon a price for taking just a single cutting. It was actually quite the steal – the employee didn’t seem to know the plant’s true value – and she left clutching her paper bag and beaming at Alice. No point even guessing where Mason was.
“I hope that wasn’t too boring,” she said cheerfully. “I promise, no more plant stuff. Let’s go see this warehouse and you guys can fill me in on this… comic book team, helping people idea.”
Without even really meaning to, Persephone glanced over her shoulder. It was like she was expecting some ominous shadow to jump out at any moment. Figuring out the doctor’s identity and settling her debt was going to be the biggest relief of Persephone’s life – and that was saying something. To say that moving out had been a pretty big deal was quite the understatement.
Assuming that the others would follow, Persephone led the way down the San Francisco streets. She was trying to instil a little bravado in herself and, for the moment, it was working. Forget the doctor. Now it was time to focus on seeing the warehouse Dom had provided and talk more about this superhero thing Alice had babbled about.
God her life was weird right now.

Paladin Am I more than you bargained for yet? | Alice took the invitation, but hovered in the entrance area rather awkwardly. Clearly she wasn't entirely at home in this location. She was comfortable enough with plants, as long as they were the ones that were typically involved in meals. Anything beyond that and she was at a loss. She looked curiously around the plants in the entrance, but most of them seemed to be the kind that you bought because they were pretty, as opposed to because they tasted good.
She was glad that Persephone wasn't entirely against the idea of them forming a super hero team.
"It's not a comic book team though. This is real."
She shrugged awkwardly, "At least it will be!"
She really wanted this to work, it had to work. She had these powers, and so did all of the others, they should use them to help people. Maybe it was clichéd to think of comics like Spiderman, but power should come with responsibility. She could help people now, how could she turn her back on that?
It was strange but she knew that even if this whole team idea didn't work out, she'd still try to be a hero. It might be hard, going out on her own, but she'd do it. As far as she was concerned these powers meant she was going to be a hero, and if it was just her doing it then so be it.
She'd rather her friends were involved as well though.
She followed Persephone along the street, looking around to check that Mason was there before remembering that she wouldn't be able to tell anyway. It was strange. For most of the time she had known him he had been invisible. And yet she kept straying back to old habits, trying to meet his eyes, look away from him, everything. It was strange how difficult it was to adapt to the fact that her friend was totally invisible to the naked eye.
She piped up as they rounded the corner to the warehouse, "Maybe Claire's already here!"

Recruitment Drive It wasn’t the boundless enthusiasm typical of her temperament, but Alice did do a great job of walking into the store and at least attempting to look around at the plants. Mason didn’t have to even try. He just hovered close behind her, careful not to be an obstacle in the fairly small space, and stared blankly in the distance. His dad had been more outdoorsy but even then he’d been more of a fishing man. His mother liked fishing too, but killed every plant she touched, and Annie was no gardener herself. Having lived in city apartments for the majority of his adult life, Mason hadn’t really had the opportunity to expand his knowledge of plants.
In all honesty, he wasn’t planning on it. The closest he got to gardening was buying a bunch of wilting flowers from a gas station, and he hadn’t had reason to do that in years.
“We’re bringing comic books to life!” Mason contributed with hushed excitement.
Slipping out the store behind Alice had a brief moment of danger. Luckily he managed to stabilise the leaning tower of clay pots before a catastrophe occurred. Maybe they would have fallen, maybe they wouldn’t have – Mason just hadn’t trusted that tiny wobble as he brushed past.
Persephone glanced back and Alice looked around for him too as they walked, which was nice. He liked that they still thought of him even when his presence wasn’t exactly obvious. It was actually quite pleasant strolling down the streets and Mason could almost kid himself that this was just an ordinary outing with friends. Which, unless you counted putting together an actual team of actual superheroes as ordinary, was not really the case here.
As they drew closer, Alice joyfully suggested that Claire could be there, which was something he hadn’t considered. She would be sat leaning against the wall with sketchbook in hand, no doubt. As much as he’d love for her to embrace her powers, he also trusted that she was doing so in her own way at her own pace. Plus her art was super pretty and he liked helping out by “levitating” random objects in interesting parts of the warehouse.
He moved ahead of Alice and Persephone to open the door for them. “Helloooo,” he called, turning to peek his head around the frame. “Anybody home?”

The last few days hadn't been bad, actually. The first day was genuinely awkward and it had been pretty obvious with Claire both sitting in the corner and leaving early that it wasn't a place she was comfortable in just yet. Mason and Dom had let her be, naturally, but it was Alice that surprised her by really heeding her words from earlier in the apartment by letting her take her time to adjust; having not frowned too awful hard when she went home.
The next few days after that she had spent observing Dominic and Alice's excitement with one another's powers. Dom's was.. visually stunning. It was like a real life movie. But she'd focused more so on the objects cast in perfect light thanks to Mason's 'levitating' tricks. "Where were you in Studio last semester?" she'd joked with him once. She'd since moved from her corner to sit on top of a large, rolling toolbox with crossed legs, sketchpad in her lap, and eyes observant to the room and people within.
Today she'd arrived even a bit earlier than the usual time and decided to work on a more 'secretive' (not really) project's background. She'd taken a picture of Alice mid-lunge the other day on her phone and had been using it as a pose reference while watching her daily to create the picture she'd promised the excitable girl.
Though she'd been drawing to the smooth rhythm pulsing through her earbuds, she heard Mason's muffled call past them and removed them both - letting them dangle loosely by her collarbones. "Hey," she lifted a single and equipped with pencil between two fingers. "You guys are early today- Oh. Hey Persephone," she noticed the young woman following the two (well, really just Alice) and was pleasantly surprised. "...They roped you in too, huh?" with a scrunched smirk, she huffed the sarcastically bothered question.
NOTES: Set up in the shop. WEARING: Here.
