Akane Yumeno Student || Tajadol || Bio-Fusion Akane had just landed at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. She took the jet because the two governments were paying for it. She felt bad for Geist as he had to stay in the baggage compartment for the flight. But the moment they were out of the airport, he was released and allowed to fly around for a bit while Akane strapped on her leather bracer for him to perch upon. So far all she knew of this school was that it was 'just outside of town.' But from the map she bought in the gift shop, there were a lot of towns in Washington. With Islands, Mountains, forest, reservations, and plenty of areas for humans to settle down, she could easily pick a place and fly to it, but she would be very lost.
Alright, time to get some local information. Standing just an inch about five feet, she quickly blended into the ground, minus the bird of prey perched on her arm and the rolling suitcase. She was in a Black Slayer Shirt that hung loosely on her. Maybe two sizes larger than her form needed, but it worked as a pseudo dress. Black denim pants covered her legs. Bell bottom cuffs covered the top of her black sneakers. Since this state was known as North United States, she figured it would be easier to find information by heading south. After nearly thirty minutes of walking with businesses around her, she started to feel hungry. But Geist was not allowed indoors. She noticed a strange looking building with an outdoor seating area. That worked. Jack in the Box. Hopefully the food doesn't jump out at her.
Geist saved a table while she went inside and ordered. She would eventually emerge with a garden salad and an extra order of chicken strip. The chicken was set out on the table for her falcon to tear at and enjoy. Her eyes scanned for anyone that seemed like they would know where the Hero Academy was.

a falling star fell from your heart. A loud buzzing from a Samsung woke Kaori from her slumber. Through bleary eyes, she noted that the alarm read 9:30am. With a loud groan, she briefly picked up the pillow and covered her face with it before letting out a muffled scream. A small amount of light flooded into the small hotel room in Seattle. Since her meta powers came into being Kaori did not like to conform to a typical diurnial lifestyle. She was never that bad with mornings before now. Ah well. Things change! Deciding to see who to be annoyed with for waking her up, she fumbled about for the phone: eventually picking it up and bringing it to her face. There was an unread message on LINE from none other than Jun. With none other than a two word response to a message she had sent about a week ago. "Kusooooo!" she hissed out. It annoyed her just a touch that response,if one could begin to call it that, took him that long to send. It annoyed her more that he had sent it then. Why was he even up at that time? The groggy mental mathematics indicated to her that it was about 1:30 am. Night affected him the same way day affected her. Taking a deep breath she slid herself up into a hunched over pose, finding what little will power there was at this time in the morning to not say something mean. They were still...friends? after all. Instead, she sent him a cute little sticker of some cutesy character whose name was escaping her giving the thumbs up followed by a polite message telling him to go to bed. Knowing that she wasn't going to be sleeping anytime soon she decided to get herself ready to go out into the world. Have a very late breakfast - it would basically be lunch. Something greasy. Last night she had been at a security conference mixer and had been out quite late. Thankfully for her, it only took around 45 minutes to get somewhat presentable. Using a wig really cut down on the amount of time she needed to get ready. The straight lob with heavy bangs look was very chic. The contacts were another issue though, she hated wearing them. But they were needed to blend in. She was far too recognisable otherwise. Flouncing out of the Holiday Inn in a black beret, white button down t-shirt tied at the waist, a leather miniskirt with black leggings and a well-worn pair of scarlet boots she knew she'd at least be able to fake a bad-ass attitude. Maybe even enough to disregard the bad mood Jun had managed to put her in. She walked around aimlessly until a Jack in the Box jumped out at her. There was a falcon sitting very patiently at a table. That was not a particularly usual occurrence. It seemed like enough of a sign that a nice hot serving of chips and maybe a burger were in the cards. Sometimes the universe really did provide all that you need Kaori mused to herself while stepping into the restaurant and placing her order. Settling on some doughnut balls and a side of chips, she scanned around looking for someone that looked like they would own a falcon. Which proved harder than she thought it would be. She assumed that someone that owned a falcon would probably be wearing a shark-tooth necklace and khakis. Nobody matched that description. Eventually her order was up and she looked for somewhere to sit. Seemed like outside would be the answer as there was nowhere available in the booths, and the counters looked unpleasantly sticky. As she opened the door, she saw the owner of the falcon. A young Asian woman in a Slayer shirt. Kaori estimated that she was in her later stage of adolescence based on her face and hands. She arched a fair-haired brow and felt a smirk tug at the corners of her face. Definitely not who she would have expected to own such a bird. Kaori knew that she had to find out what the deal was. Quickly approaching the young woman's table, she slid her tray onto it. "Hey there! Nice bird you have. Does it have a name? Mind if I sit here?" She enthusiastically greeted the presumably younger woman, all but prematurely sliding into the bench across from her. Her raging extroversion was rearing its head. Hopefully it didn't spook the bird girl too much. @tajadol ― notes: none
