"Ohhh, coffee...." Caffine Time! Sunny smiled as she listened to the interesting facts about the colour purple. They were certainly probably true, Sunny thought. She remembered being on a talk show once and the host telling her that oddly, pink had once been a 'boy' colour, because red was used to identify male babies, but lack of good dying technology meant it faded quickly to pink. Sunny thought that was silly.
Pink was clearly a GIRL colour.
When she explained that if Sunny declared pink a royal colour that only she could wear pink, she looked aghast and horrified. "Ohmigod! I'm not a monster! Like, EVERYBODY should get to wear pink! Not nobody!" She explained, shocked and horrified by that possibility. "Ohh, maybe I'd make it a rule that EVERYBODY has to wear pink?" Sunny suggested playfully, with a smile at the idea. She knew some people who would hate that, but they'd look SOOOO good!
"I guess." She smiled to the suggestion of only needing two or three close friends. "We're friends now, right? So I'm nearly there!" She beamed. Maia went on to outline how most villains were evil, which Sunny could understand why somebody would believe, but for once, Sunny wasn't the naive one in the conversation. "I dunno, I've busted lots of bad guys. Most are just, like, dumb thieves who don't really know better. They're like, not EVIL. Just kinda poor and stupid. I don't think most really wanna hurt people. Not like the girl who stabbed me..." She trailed off a little, trying not to think about her injury or the pain. There were some memories she just didn't want to dwell on.
Sunny couldn't hide her glee or pride at hearing that Maia's god-daughter loved her show. She thought Maia was a little young to have a god-daughter, but then again, Sunny was such a ditz she wasn't entirely sure she knew what the term meant. "Oh, yay! I love having fans! I should do, like, a signed picture of myself for her or something!" She suggested cheerfully, because of course Sunny loved spreading her fame. "I mean, I don't like, voice myself in the show, 'cause I'm like, uh, not great at it, but Aly, who does, is like my only friend, and she's great!" She smiled.
"Great! I'm gonna get booking some of the restaurants! They get all booked up WAY in advance! Ohmigod, did you know you can eat in the Cinderella Castle and meet the princesses and everything!? I'm gonna book us a table there!" She said, her eyes lighting up as her hands flew to her phone and the pre-installed Disneyworld app (because of COURSE Sunny had the pre-installed Disneyworld app...).

[googlefont="Comfortaa"] ♡ TAGS WORD COUNT NOTES No matter how hard she tried to conceal it, the pop star's nerdy side always had a way of resurfacing at the oddest of times. True enough the brunette's 'useless' fact folder was almost always brimming with answers to questions that she was fairly sure no one would ever ask. Such as which species of animals had the capability of delaying their pregnancies for months at a time? Or what was a jiffy? Clever slang or an actual unit of time? It was almost as if her brain was constantly prepping to take part in some sort of trivia based game show. The teenager suspected that very few people would have taken the time to learn that much background on their favorite color and even fewer would have cared even if they did come by the information somehow but such things were fascinating to Maia. In a manner that the singer was coming to acknowledge as 'classic Sunny', the blonde's reaction to her explanation of a 'royal color' was extremely melodramatic. As a girlish giggle threatened to erupt from her throat at any moment, the nineteen year old pressed her lips together tightly in a vain attempt to stifle the laughter. However, when Gravity Girl made the playful suggestion that she might not be terribly opposed to a rule that everyone would be required to wear pink, the teen idol simply couldn't control herself. Overtaken by a fit of giggles, the young woman took a moment to compose herself before finally replying "Ok, so that might actually make you a bit of a monster. Pink is a super cute color, but believe it or not everyone can't rock it as well as you do. There are different complexions and whatnot to consider." When the supermodel turned superhero smiled brightly at her and inquired as to if they were friends, Maia couldn't help but to feel her own lips tug into a warm smile as well as she responded "Yeah, we are definitely friends now. So, you might just be almost there then." It was strange to think of Sunny as a friend when she had literally just met the girl today. She certainly hadn't come to Starbucks with the expectation of befriending a superhero, but she supposed stranger things had happened. None that she could think of at the moment of course. As Gravity Girl spoke of her crime fighting antics, the teen listened with vested interest realizing that the real life superheroes that existed in her world were nothing like the ones that she saw in movies or read about in comic books. They weren't capturing demented villains like the Joker or Poison Ivy they were just fighting average lawbreakers. Some meta and some she suspected were likely human. The desperation that drove a person to commit atrocious acts when poverty stricken was one that admittedly the pop star was all too familiar with. Although the teen preferred not to be reminded of the hard times that she and her mother suffered prior to her being signed. Frowning a little, the singer replied "Well, it's not really that they don't know any better it's that they don't care anymore. When you're really poor and you're struggling to have a place to live and food to eat sometimes you get so desperate that you don't really feel like you have anything to lose if you do something crazy like commit a crime. It's like your life already sucks, so what does it matter." An amused smile flickered across the teenager's face as Sunny's glee overtook her. Most people were a bit caught offguard when the young woman mentioned her goddaughter as she was still so very young, but from where she came from it wasn't such an odd occurrence. Regrettably, teenage pregnancy was definitely on the rise in her old neighborhood and her best friend had fallen pregnant at a young age. Smiling brightly, the songstress nodded eagerly saying "Oh, that would totally make her day if you would be sweet enough to sign something for her. She would just die. She's got a ton of your merchandise, courtesy of her doting godmother of course." Actually, these days her personal assistant tended to do most of her shopping for her, but she still told her what to get so that had to count, right? As Sunny mentioned that she didn't do the voice acting for her character for her show, it struck Maia as to why she hadn't recognized the girl's voice right away. As she recalled something, the brunette's face illuminated "Wait, your mom is Melissa Slater right? I think I remember getting a call from someone that worked for her. Something about doing the theme song for the show. I'd be on board if she's still looking for someone." While Maia was reluctant to admit it aloud, something about Sunny's excitement regarding their upcoming trip to Disneyworld was infectious. She was actually starting to get excited as if she were a little kid again. As Sunny reached for her phone, Maia's blared drawing the singer's attention to the device. Picking it up, the teen winced at the photo the flashed across the screen. It was a picture of her mother making what she called her 'not amused' face. Oh no, what had she done now? One glance at the time quickly answered that question for her. Oh.... she was late. Not the photoshoot should have already started by now late, but it wouldn't start on time because she was late for hair and makeup late. Her mom was going to kill her. Offering an apologetic smile to the blonde, Maia said "Oh my gosh, I have to go. I am so sorry to cut our conversation short, but I have a photoshoot for my new album cover and I'm running late for hair and makeup. I'm sure you know how that is." Digging a pen out of her pocket, the brunette scribbled down her phone number on a clean napkin saying as she did so "Here's my number. Give me a call whenever so we can go over the details of the trip." Sliding the napkin towards her, Maia offered Sunny a quick wave before scurrying off. ~End of Thread~
