LIVING ON THE EDGE, FIGHTING CRIME, SPINNING WEBS, LOOKING UP WITH NO SURPRISE, ARRIVING AT THE SPEED OF TIME— FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN [attr="class","monsterexo"]It was the typical day for your friendly neighborhood web-slinger. In his casual attire, the male had spent the rest of the day out there— but he was not quite wearing his costume. As much as he would have liked to swing around the cities, he also had commitments to attend to: such as the continuous research of an actual job. He couldn’t obviously just life for vigilantism, which wasn’t actually paid either— therefore, he needed to find something that could at least sustain his health. He lived alone, at least. Not that it was a positive thing, but at least he could probably do with something easy. He wasn’t looking for a fortune or someone who would pay him thousands, but he could definitely do with something that could allow him not to worry about money when it came to his identity as August Young. For a moment, he almost halted in his tracks to think about what Spider-Man would do. What Spider-Man would do? “ Daily Bugle, right. Uh. I don’t think I am fit for journalism, though.” August smirked faintly. Ah well, he could only wish that his job interview would have gone well. Speaking of, he was just about a block or two away from the agency. So, it was about time that— “H-help! Someone please...!!” August froze on spot until he shifted his gaze to meet the direction of the request’s source; a woman had just been poached as the masked thug quickly made a run for his bike and ran away. The male was conflicted now: he would have lost his job opportunity if he were to chase the villain but if he didn’t act now… The man sighed and ran over to an alley where he hurried himself to change. Moments later, the man once more reappeared but this time, in the clothing of the typical web-slinger as he swung from one block to the other with his web-shooting. Spider-Man followed the street he had seen the thug drive over to after the crime, but he couldn’t see him anywhere close, that was until he spotted the bike parked next to a zoo. “ Guess the prey has found his way to my web.” The red-dressed vigilante swung his way by the public location and dropped down, only to land onto one of the trees within the area— what was a thug doing in a zoo? He guessed it didn’t matter as long as he’d catch him and retrieve the prize; but where could it be? There were plenty of people and it would have been difficult to recognize the culprit. But the bag. The bag was an aqua-colored purse— and not for nothing, there happened to be a male holding one very close to his side almost as if protecting it. “ Bingo,” - said the vigilante as he jumped off the tree and— similarly to a spider, dropped on all fours next to a wooden stand nearby where the thug stood… which happened to be in front of a thick glass that separated the people from an area where monkeys and gorillas were contained. Spidey shot a pair of webs that stuck onto trees, both planted on either side of the stand. He pulled himself back, step after step until he let himself go and used the force of the webs’ tensile strength as a way to toss himself at the good-for-nothing with both his feet aimed to hit him. But at such a distance, he did not predict that the thug would have moved away. Great. Spidey happened to hit the thick glass with his feet, at a speed that happened to leave a crack on the glass of the cage— but Spider-Man seemed to be alright! He simply stuck onto the surface with his feet and hands, while the man, terrified by the sudden appearance of the vigilante blanked out and in utter surprise, stuttered to say anything. “ Alright, sir. You have the right to remain silent, but no more monkey business with that bag. Hand it over and we’ll end this quick; sounds good, right?” But, the thug didn’t seem to listen to the vigilante in costume. What was he staring at? August blinked his eyes from behind the mask. “ ...Is there something on my face?” Spider-Man simply shot a quick glance beyond his shoulder, only to catch the sight of a gorilla right behind the spot where the vigilante was currently stuck onto. Okay, was this guy seriously more impressed by a gorilla than someone who can do the things one of the most popular fictional heroes can? That wasn’t quite the problem. The crack grew larger as the primate tapped on the glass; to the point where a screeching noise could be heard— and it alerted August shortly after he had just looked back as he once more stared behind him. Only to find the crack to have enlarged beyond the zone that his feet covered. And a gorilla, who had actually moved… at a fair distance, his limbs planted onto the ground and ready to charge at the glass. “ ...And this is why I should have had spider-senses.” The gorilla did not waste time and immediately jumped against the glass on all fours as he broke through the thick surface which had been previously damaged and tossed Spider-Man all the way down the floor as he rolled multiple times, his body hit the cold surface of the flooring until he came to a stop; only for him to spot a huge hole in the window from where the primates began to escape and assume a territorial behavior— proudly standing and smashing their fists against their mighty chests. The screams of the civilians could be heard as they ran away from the scene: kids, teens, adults. Everyone who was even close enough to catch a glimpse of the event. Needless to say that he was in their way as they menacingly moved closer. Spidey couldn’t even see the thug anymore; he had probably gotten away again, but he had another problem at hand currently. Multiple of them actually and they were huge. The illegal hero quickly straightened his back as he sat up on the floor and blinked and… pretty much did the first thing that came to his mind. The web-head quickly shot a web at a nearby stand and pulled a long, yellow fruit and quickly caught it within his grasp. “ ...Banana?” - the hero asked with a smile behind his masked, currently sweaty face. @jessaminemcwane MADE BY ★MEULK [newclass=.monsterexo]line-height:14px;[/newclass][newclass=.monsterexo b]color:#da0d0d;[/newclass]

Jessa could not be happier then today, her first day on the job at the Bronx Zoo! She would make rotations through out the zoo but they start almost everyone on with the primates. While she would be shadowing with an employee that had worked there for over five years, however they left her to making up the morning meals and supplements. Cutting fruits and veggies and stuffing vitamins into bananas. No not really fun or exciting but everyone starts some where and Jessa was happy to be here and to be getting paid for it to boot. The day went painfully slow and she was now making the lunch meals and some entertainment for the gorilla, coco nuts with drilled holes and a pellet food stuck inside, ice bowls with fruit in it and bamboo stalks with peanut butter and peanuts stuffed inside them. Its fun and exciting to see these creatures bating coco nuts around trying to get the tasty pellet out of it, or them licking like a huge ice pop for the yummy fruit inside or them trying to get the gooy peanut butter and peanuts out of the stalk of bamboo. Yes, this was what Jessa was excited for. As she was watching the gorillas she noticed something odd over by one of the walkways, some guy dressed in some costum and "NO!" Jessa yelled. However it was to late the barrier was broken and the gorillas were finding their way to the excitement. Not knowing what else to do Jessa went over to the area and started to wave her arms up and down trying to get the gorillas to follow her back into there enclosure. What the h**l was she thinking? One turned and came right to her! Jessa turned to run but it was to late the massive beast grabbed her like a doll, she screamed and that was it. Jessa's fear and her own fight or flight intuition kicked in, she changed into a gorilla! Great, just great! not her first day and this happens! Jessa was having a hard time understanding this creature. It was lucky that the real gorilla had dropped her and now was more interested in sniffing and poking her. Now what? TAG: August

LIVING ON THE EDGE, FIGHTING CRIME, SPINNING WEBS, LOOKING UP WITH NO SURPRISE, ARRIVING AT THE SPEED OF TIME— FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN [attr="class","monsterexo"]Alright. Not everything was all that ‘spectacular’, right now. In a single accident Spidey had managed to let gorillas out of their cage, boundless and now masses of people freaked out and began to leave behind quite a chaotic trail. This wasn’t quite what he had in mind to do that day but okay, he could do something about it. Probably. A particular cry did quite reach his ears, though, as the man looked at the side only to realize that there was a girl who had frozen on spot— before the vigilante in costume could tell her to run away, though, the apes that had come to greet the male violently groaned. They probably actually wanted the banana and attempted to scare off the spider, which they actually did as August pulled himself off the ground with a web he shot over the trunk of a tree. The male planted his feet against the hard surface of the plant, with one hand wrapped around its shaft while the other placed above his head. “ Great… just awesome. No wonder people think vigilantes are dangerous. How do I fix this now?” Soon enough, August’s gaze shifted towards the girl he had spotted earlier and a gorilla had gone after her! “ Oh no, this is bad,” - the masked hero thought to himself and before he could act, the girl showed off some awesome power as she suddenly transformed into a gorilla, leaving the vigilante speechless as he watched from the distance. Now, though, what was going on? The male gorilla was just playing around with her or something like that? He didn’t know all that well but he figured out that the two could have worked together to solve this mess. August once more swung by and gracefully stuck onto the glass, this time gently, without even damaging it as he shot a pair of webs from behind the gorilla— both aimed to wrap around his hands. The other end of the webs were instead enveloped over the metal bar that separated the visitors from the enclosed habitat, pretty much hoping he'd stay locked there for a while. “ Your mom never taught you monkeying around with ladies is rude?” The man dressed in red and blue looked at the other ’fake’ monkey, so to say, and curiously stared at her. “Uhm, can you still speak— like, wow. I have never met someone who could transform into an ape but like, this whole thing is a mess and—” Before he could finish, though, both of them could hear screams of citizens; frightened by the sudden revolt of the primates that had begun to literally lift stands or mess them up— most precisely the ones who would sell fast food. “ Yeah, it's about that. Do you think you can help your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man with this?” @jessaminemcwane MADE BY ★MEULK [newclass=.monsterexo]line-height:14px;[/newclass][newclass=.monsterexo b]color:#da0d0d;[/newclass]

i.imgur.com/0EDDSF3.pngThe moment before the gorilla grabbed her, it seemed like her life flashed before her. When the animal had her in his grasp, Jessa thought she was going to die, that fight or flight and then the change, that breaking and rearranging of bone and organs. That moment where two worlds form into one, yet even though the change happened, she didn't feel safe, not yet. Ok how do you control this thing? Jessa did not understand this creature, she looked out of its eyes and saw the other ape picking and poking her. She looked down, great her Zoo uniform was still on her! Ok, now what? Jessa reached out an arm and the apes arm moved, ok she could control that but there was the apes own reactions and desires. That was another thing Jessa hated about changing into creatures, she took on their innate behaviors and this animal was strong in those feelings. She could see through the animals eyes and hear everything, she saw that guy in the costum, asking if she could talk? really? She tried to say no, but only a roar escaped. Come one Jess get a hold of yourself! Stay in control, don't loose yourself to this beast but that was too late, even though she could still think for herself, trying to control the apes innate being was hard to control, that want to be with the others and the hunger for food. She looked back at the ape picking at her and all she wanted to do was run from it yet, the beasts innate being picked it back. No, Jess come on you can do this, you have to do this she thought to herself. Jessa thought, walk away and now tried that, looking back at the ape that had grabbed her it followed. Now if she could just keep control of this animal form she could help get the apes in to the encloser. Fight the want and the hunger, she kept telling herself. Need to stay in control! She tried to yell to the guy that was in costum but instead of her voice a loud roar came out and that's when she saw all the other apes look for the strange roar and would come to investigate it. Darn it, now they are coming at her! Now what? Wait, she was an ape, maybe she could get them into the security of their inner encloser. She tried to yell out again to the costumed guy and again only roars could be heard. Jessa slowly made her way though the inner encloser, the only ape not following was the silver back who was beating his chest in defiance. Jessa did not understand ape, yet. However she knew behaviors from her studies and that was not a good sign. Jessa just hoped that the other Zoo staff would be able to confine the apes she lead in. Now to try to get the silverback. Jessa slowly went in range of the silver back, she looked at the ape and a shiver went down her being. She needed to get him to try to chase her. She beat her chest and roared and ran to the silverback. She challenged the beast, once right up in the silver backs face, she beat her chest and roar and then ran as fast as she could back into the inner encloser. It followed, thankfully. Now what? she was stuck in the inner encloser with all the other apes including that silverback, how was she going to change back and when? She was scared she might change any moment since all the danger was gone other then the angry silverback. Tag: August

LIVING ON THE EDGE, FIGHTING CRIME, SPINNING WEBS, LOOKING UP WITH NO SURPRISE, ARRIVING AT THE SPEED OF TIME— FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN [attr="class","monsterexo"]Spider-Man, or well, the cosplayer had just made a huge mess and now he didn’t know if he could solve it all on his own. Right, he could maybe try to web them up but how effective would that be? If they weren’t far from each other, it was very likely they’d help each other to rip apart the webs and he was sure the webs couldn’t resist a whole habitat of gorillas’ strength. Now, at least he trusted the other to be able in something. He didn’t know what, but hey, she could turn into a gorilla, maybe she could do some flashy… monkey stuff? He didn’t quite know if she could do something else. Not to mention that at his question on her communication abilities— she did quite say the answer he expected. “ Guess not,” - he said in response to her roar. A talking gorilla would have been awesome, though. At least for the moment, he wondered if he could at least count on her— she did respond timely to his question, so she was basically like the Lizard from the comics! She’d still understand other people apparently. “ Uhh. Do you want a banana?” - asked the man as she burst out in a fit— a fierce roar that surprised even the Spider-Man, or to be precise, August Young whose wide-open eyes watched from behind the mask the lady’s sudden ‘attempt’ at communication? He didn’t quite realize what it was, at first. But the other apes had been attracted by her roar and as she led them through their habitat again, Spidey also followed but he stayed out as he launched his hands forth and filled the gap in the glass with multiple webs formed of his silk. It was only going to last a few hours, so they would have still needed to replace the glass. Now, though, he had to get her out of that green zone. He crawled on top of the walls that separated both visitors and primates as he leaned forward; the man couldn’t quite recognize the lady anymore among the monkeys. “ I’ll get you out of here just run towards me— trust me!” @jessaminemcwane MADE BY ★MEULK [newclass=.monsterexo]line-height:14px;[/newclass][newclass=.monsterexo b]color:#da0d0d;[/newclass]

This first day of work at the Bronx Zoo had started slow and boring and now she was wondering if she was going leave here alive at all. The desires of his beast were almost to much to bear, she fought to remain lucid in this form.
She saw the costumed person attempt to fix the area that was broken, with whatever that stuff is coming from his wrist was? Whatever it was she only hoped it would hold until the other apes were secured by the other staff that were running around now securing pens within the ape habitat. One of the staff had their eyes on her! Da* it! she thought.
The that costumed guy had come over and told her? Was he talking to her? Either way he had said to 'run towards him, rust him' ? Jessa looked back to the staff that had a tranq gun aimed towards her.
In her ape form she ran as fast as she could towards the costumed person. With staff on her heels she waited for whatever the person had in mind. He better act quick . . . Then she felt a sharp pain in her side. Great one of the staff just shot a tranq at her. She was starting to feel really tired . . .

LIVING ON THE EDGE, FIGHTING CRIME, SPINNING WEBS, LOOKING UP WITH NO SURPRISE, ARRIVING AT THE SPEED OF TIME— FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN [attr="class","monsterexo"]He couldn’t tell if she could at least trust him enough for her to listen to his directions. He honestly didn’t expect too much given he had already put her in all this trouble, but there was only one way for him to find out— but there was also another external person to this case. One of the staff or something like that suddenly came from nowhere and shot a tranquilizer at her. Spider-Man pretty much squinted in his direction. Great. Now, this was going to be harder than he had expected. To make sure this wouldn’t happen again, though, as the vigilante was crouched on top of the wall that separated the private habit from the rest of the world, he simply launched his hand forth and pressed his middle and ring fingers against the palm of his hand— he released quite a long web that stuck against the gun. " Do you hug your mom with the hands you hold guns with?!" He didn’t want this guy to shoot one at his own persona, after all. Now, though, it looked like the woman didn’t seem anywhere near the state of turning back to normal… which wasn’t what he had expected at all. August grunted from beneath his mask and pressed his hand against the fabric of his mask. “This is gonna be a difficult monkey to the skin,” - mentioned the man before he jumped off the edge of the wall and launched himself worth with his webs, shooting one at the ground; propelling himself forth towards the gorilla girl. As soon as he did finally drop off towards the ground, he stopped in front of the gorilla— arms wide to hold her by her arm to the other. “ Hey, don’t fall asleep on me! Look, can you turn back to normal? Because… well. I know you’re a lady and everything but you probably weigh too much for me... I can’t lift you up that easily.” Notes: I am sorry for the waiting. This first day at work could not have gone any worse, yet they did. From the guy in the costum causing damage to the wall the other apes nearly escaping, to Jessa transforming to this beast and now another staff just shot a tranq at her. The tranq was taking affect quickly, yet, she saw the guy in the costum come in front of her asking her to change back in her human form, something she didn't know if she could. Yet, she had the feeling that she better at least try, for her life's sake. She thought to herself, 'change', her ever growing sleepy self 'change' she thought to her self 'come on change' her ape form would fall into the arms of the costumed man just as her change started. The costumed man would now have an unconscious, naked Jessa limp in his arms. Tag: spiderman

LIVING ON THE EDGE, FIGHTING CRIME, SPINNING WEBS, LOOKING UP WITH NO SURPRISE, ARRIVING AT THE SPEED OF TIME— FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN [attr="class","monsterexo"]August hoped she could at least turn back to normal because he would have had a hard time with a gorilla— not like he could probably lift one, maybe? He could have definitely figured something out, but at the moment, it looked like maybe they were getting somewhere. As the other reverted to her natural form, the man couldn’t help but actually notice that her skin was showing and before long, he found himself with a bare woman in his arms. Okay. “ Ah.” Spidey fixated his gaze up, caring for his sight not to look down. Cause someone masked like that looking down would have been the epitome of weird, plus there were worse matters at hand; getting out of there before one would shoot another tranquilizer or worst case scenario, the police interfering. They were probably on their way to the zoo given the alarm. The vigilante pulled her up against him and wrapped his right arm over her waist as he kept her straddled as he hopped off and shot a web with his other hand, swinging around the area before he lunged away and finally left the habitat with the woman in his arms. “ Man. Mr. Stark would be proud of me at least,” - thought the man as he totally left the whole zoo area as a whole as he could spot police cars coming and went ahead and swung into the distance until he could land onto a building some blocks away. August slowly let her off as he placed her gently down the roof as he sighed. “ Great… What do I do now? I can’t just go down with a girl all out with the lights,” - said to himself until a little bulb lit in his head. He could probably make her some clothes! The man put his hands forth and spun webs as the silk would have wrapped around the woman’s shapes to cover her top and bottom. It wouldn’t have lasted longer than a pair of hours, but better than nothing. @jessaminemcwane MADE BY ★MEULK [newclass=.monsterexo]line-height:14px;[/newclass][newclass=.monsterexo b]color:#da0d0d;[/newclass]

New York the city that never sleeps, where dreams are made and broken. Clearly for Jessa it sure seemed like the later was delt to her. Everything that could go wrong was going wrong. Was it just because she was new in the city and there may have been some birthing pangs growing to this city? It didn't matter, the current situation was dangerous and her life was on the line, this time the line of a costumed person who plucked her from the gorilla encloser before staff could investigate the nake form of Jessa. The costumed guy brought her somewhere and had made a cover for her body, it wasn't clothing but it would have to do. Within a few moments Jessa woke with the webbing covering all over her. "What the H . . . " Her voice had trailed off as she examined the covering and had a look around and then seeing the costumed person before her. Jessa didn't know weather to yell at him or thank him. There was a palatable silence. "What happen? Why am I up here al covered in this stuff? Jessa questioned the costumed person before for. The only thing Jessa remembered was being a gorilla, being shot by another staff member and then passing out and waking up here like this.

LIVING ON THE EDGE, FIGHTING CRIME, SPINNING WEBS, LOOKING UP WITH NO SURPRISE, ARRIVING AT THE SPEED OF TIME— FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN [attr="class","monsterexo"]Now that August had finally taken her somewhere else— where she was at least safe from being seen naked. He had actually felt a little sympathetic for her at that moment. As much as it could have been nothing, he would have felt bad to just let her bare in the zoo. Now she was also safe from any gorilla and now, he could also spin a little sort of clothing for her. It would have been awkward to do it in front of others. Shortly after, though, she also woke up and at least… she didn’t exactly panic. More or less. But it could have been worse. She soon questioned what had just happened and sort of caused August to raise an eyebrow beneath his mask. “ What? You don’t remember?” Spidey sighed briefly and sat down next to her, his hands slightly gesturing as he continued to speak. “ Man, you really went all lights out then! Okay, uh, basically the zoo went upside down because of a little mistake I did while chasing a bad guy and you suddenly turned into a huge gorilla,” - paused the man briefly, allowing her to take in all the information. “ So, yadda yadda— we solved the problem but you turned back and you were all naked. So I kind of felt bad and thought I’d at least take you away and give you those… clothes. I guess.” Soon enough, the vigilante lifted a hand in front of her, almost to interrupt whatever she might ask about what it was. “ It’s all web! Don’t worry. It’s not as disgusting as it sounds. It’s hygienic and everything. I am not some low-quality spider, you know? But it’ll only last a few hours, so yeah… do you want me to take you back to the zoo or should I take you home so you can get actual clothes?” He shrugged it off shortly after as soon as he turned around to check a skyscraper with some digital insignia, only to check the time. Even if his expression wasn’t visible, his disappointment was quite loud in his next words as he let out the slightest of breaths from his lips. “ I have already blown my job interview, after all. Touching her head, Jessa would react to a tender spot and a good bump on the noggin. She looked up at the guy and frowned as he said "What? You don't remember?" Jessa shook her head, the last thing she remember was being shot with a tranqu. She sat up as he rambled on about what happened, she not only remembered all that she lived it. He stuck his hand in front of her face, it got her attention as he was talking about the web stuff he wrapped her in. He would glace at the skyscraper clock and complain about missing his interview and weather or not he should bering her home. Now that was a capital idea. "Bring me home please." she told him as she thought about her own job and weather or not she would still be employed after all that had happened to day. Jessa allowed him to pick her up to bring her home as she was in his arms she rested her head on his chest as she wanted to hide her face from anyone maybe catching a glimpse of what was going on. She was embarrassed.

LIVING ON THE EDGE, FIGHTING CRIME, SPINNING WEBS, LOOKING UP WITH NO SURPRISE, ARRIVING AT THE SPEED OF TIME— FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN [attr="class","monsterexo"]She didn’t actually seem to remember much, apparently, huh? He wasn’t quite sure about how her powers even worked but he guessed there were some drawbacks to it— they all kind of did, possibly. That was his best guess, maybe it was just the shock and everything. But he did truly feel terribly sorry for causing all that trouble. He did sort of feel at fault when all he was trying to do was to catch that poacher— but at this point, he had already gotten away and now it was all said and done. He couldn’t just sulk and fall over things like that. He couldn’t certainly reverse time or something like that, so it was kind of how it was and August accepted that. He wasn’t all that satisfied about his ‘lost job’; granted there was always a chance he wouldn’t have gotten it, but still, he had lost a chance at a job for him to at least be able to look after himself without having to be concerned. She agreed with him to take her home; he’d have still needed her to lead the way but he could be a fast ‘transport’. He eventually picked her up with his arms tightened his arm around her waist to press her up against his chest, so she wouldn’t risk falling or anything as long as she would have also held onto him. Spidey eventually took off and showed off his web-slinging action between each building, even if, he did see her somewhat… shy? She looked like she was in distress and everything. He hoped to brighten up the mood a bit. “ You good over there? Dunno, but, you know, if I had the chance to have Spider-Man as a taxi driver, I’d probably squeal on the whole ride!” The vigilante turned a few blocks away, following her directions until they would finally get to the block. August spun a longer web as they slowly slid down until their feet could finally touch the ground again as he let her go. He took a quick breath as his mind was filled with ideas of him getting some rest, finally, it was a weird day. “ Sorry for everything, lady and uh, thank you for your help! Inside Jessa felt lost, this day started out so well and went to h**l in a matter of hours and now she had some costumed guy who thankfully saved her and now was going to bring her home, thank goodness! He gripped her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck when he first took off she wanted to scream, her fear of heights but instead she closed her eyes leaning her head on his shoulder and not opening her eyes even when he tried to 'lighten the mood', she was silent. Once he got outside the apartment building, she would thank him for saving her and told him, what was done is done and not to worry. She gave him a slight hug, turned and went into the building. She made a mad dash for her apartment where she started to cry once in side her place. She turned on the shower to wash off the webbing and once she was clean, she went into her bedroom and dove into bed naked, her face into a pillow and cried herself to sleep. **End of thread**
