Weak as she might seem, Senri was indeed much stronger than she appeared. She had to be in order to haul her own weight around, not to mention the dead weight of patients many times her size. With help, mind, but she was far from being noodle-armed. Between that and her fitness level in general, a challenge is exactly what Ashley would be getting. From what Senri could tell of her, though, she just might be able to keep up with her after all. Only one way to find out.
Senri tilted her head and uttered a quiet hum of consideration, though the twinkle in her eyes robbed the gesture of any gravity. "We~ll, if you insist. I think we can work in a bit of Follow the Leader," she mused. Ashley's comments about her lunch brought a fresh grin to her face. Taking the opportunity to tear pointedly into her sandwich, she was silent for long moments before replying, "Yes and no. Much as we like boredom, it's not exactly abundant in there. As it happens, though, it just takes a lot to stoke my furnace, as it were." In point of fact, she would be discreetly snacking throughout the day as much as she thought she could get away with. Her metabolism was naturally high, but she wasn't about to mention how much of that came from her powers.
Senri's mental ears pricked when Ashley mentioned her hobby/career. She was far from familiar with currently popular artists and the name 'Ashley' didn't ring any bells, but it just might be possible that she was sitting across from someone famous. She considered the possibility, gave a mental shrug, and resolved that she wouldn't act the least bit different if it turned out to be true. After all, if it was true, she probably got her fill and more of peoples' fawning over her. But the notion was genuinely novel and just plain cool, so she said aloud, "Ooo, really? A professional, then? That's awesome! Maybe not the early rising bit, but still awesome! If it helps, hiking (or running) around the city really can be relaxing. Tiring, maybe, but relaxing."

A Big Apple a Day... “Perfect,” Ashley said, a confident smile on her face. “Once you’ve consumed and digested your feast we can head out. You got a good idea of where to go first?”
‘We like boredom’ – Ashley had never thought that would be a positive aspect of a workplace, but she supposed that would be the case when a flurry of activity meant queues of patients needing medical attention. The only part of Ashley’s job that she found boring was sitting on a tour bus or a plane. Even then, she and the crew usually managed to make it a little entertaining. Or she caught up on sleep; never a bad thing.
“Boy, I’ll say. It’s good food here, too. Might as well enjoy as much of it as you can. My soup has been just what the doctor ordered!”
She’d made her way through most of it now, but she’d tried to slow down to keep pace with the enormity of Senri’s meal. It was a gentle balance between losing the warmth, and therefore tastiness, of her soup and not being left to sit there and stare enviously as Senri enjoyed the rest of her lunch.
A professional! Of course that was what Ashley was, but she liked hearing it all the same. “It is awesome! If you’re not working this weekend I bet there’s still a few tickets for my shows, if you wanted to come along?”
She grinned in agreement at the idea of a relaxing hike around New York. “Suits me just fine – I’m happy to put in the miles so long as I don’t have to think of the route. If I tire myself out just right then I should be able to just collapse into my bed at the end of the night which is always the best.”
A hotel bed wasn’t quite like her own, but it was the next best thing.
